Wave Bottle

 

If you can't take a trip to the seashore, you can still enjoy the rolling and rocking of the waves with your own mesmerizing creation.

Supplies:

• ~ Plastic water bottles- empty and with all labels removed
• ~ Water
• ~ Blue food coloring
• ~ Glitter
• ~ Small water balloons or plastic fish that will float
• ~ Cooking oil
• ~ Funnel
• ~ Packing tape or duct tape

Directions:

• ~ Fill the bottle half full with tap water.
• ~ Add a drop of food color.
• ~ Pour in 1 tsp. of glitter.
• ~ Drop in small plastic fish or shells.
• ~ Use the funnel to add cooking oil until the bottle is about two-thirds full.
• ~ Screw the cap on tightly
• ~ Make a seal over the lid, using strong tape.
