Paper Plate Fish

 

Materials

  • ~ Two Paper Plates (one large and one small)
  • ~ Scissors
  • ~ Glue or Stapler
  • ~ String
  • ~ Squiggle Eyes
  • ~ Marker or Paint


Instructions

  • ~ Cut a medium size wedge out of the large plate to create the fish's mouth.
  • ~ Glue or staple the wedge to the back of the paper plate to create the fish's tail.
  • ~ Repeat with the small paper plate to make a smaller fish.
  • ~ Draw fish scales or other designs on the paper plate fish to decorate it.
  • ~ Glue squiggle eyes to both fish.
  • ~ Staple string to the top of the smaller fish and let it hang out of the bigger fish's mouth to make it look like the big fish is about to eat the small fish.
  • ~ Children can bring their fish home for a fun summer decoration for their family.
