Ladybug Puppet
Materials
- ~ 2 Paper Plates
- ~ Stapler or Glue
- ~ Scissors
- ~ Paint
- ~ Paint Brush
- ~ Construction Paper
- ~ Pipe Cleaner Stems
- ~ Squiggle Eyes
Instructions
- ~ Staple 2 paper plates together.
- ~ Cut off the bottom quarter of the plate (enough so that the child's hand can fit into the shell of the plates).
- ~ Paint plates red with black polka dots (or another design - let the kids be creative). Paint a large black circle at the top of the plate - where the ladybug's head will be.
- ~ Using construction paper, cut out 6 legs for the ladybug and glue or staple them onto the puppet.
- ~ Glue or staple pipe cleaner stems to the top of the ladybug's head for antennas.
- ~ Glue squiggle eyes on the ladybug's head for eyes.
- ~ Encourage the children to take this puppet home and have a puppet show for their family.
