ABC Sandwich

 

   Serving Size:
1 sandwich is 1.5 oz meat/ meat alternate and 1 oz grain serving for a 3 -5 year old.

 

   Yield:
6 open face sandwiches

 

 

Ingredients:

3 English muffins, split
1 apple, cored and sliced diagonally
6 oz. cheese, sliced
3 oz. canadian bacon or ham, sliced
mustard optional

Directions:
Warm Canadian bacon or ham in skillet or microwave. Spread muffin halves with mustard. Top with sliced meat, apple slice and cheese. Put under broiler until cheese melts.
